How does a trip request work?
You describe your stay: where, when, who, your budget and what matters to you. We invite the hotels in that area that fit it best, and each can send you a private offer. You compare the offers in your account and book the one you want.
What does it cost me?
Sending a request costs you nothing, and you are never obliged to book. If you book an offer, you pay the hotel directly for your stay.
How does GrandStay make money?
Hotels pay GrandStay a commission when you book one of their offers. The price you see is the hotel's own offer, and we add nothing on top of it.
How many offers will I get?
We invite up to ten well-matched hotels. How many answer depends on the hotels in your area and your dates. We tell you honestly if none can make an offer.
How long does it take?
Hotels have up to 48 hours to answer, and less when your stay starts sooner. We email you every offer as soon as it arrives.
My dates are flexible. Does that help?
Yes. Tell us your dates are flexible, and hotels can also suggest other dates that work for them. You decide whether to take them.
Who sees my details?
Hotels see your trip and your wishes, never your name, email or phone number. The hotel you book with receives your details so it can prepare your stay.
Can I plan a trip with several stops?
Yes. Add two to five stops to one trip, and hotels in each place answer for their part of it.
Can I cancel or change my request?
You can cancel a request from your account at any time before you book, and hotels can then no longer send offers. To change the place or dates, cancel it and send a new one.
What if my plans change after I book?
Every offer states its cancellation terms before you book: free cancellation until a set date, partial, or non-refundable. Choose the terms that suit you, and the hotel applies them.
Do I need an account or a password?
No password. We send a one-time code to your email to confirm it is you, and your requests and offers wait for you in your account.
What if no hotel sends me an offer?
Then your request simply closes, and it has cost you nothing. You can ask again with other dates or a wider area, or search and book hotels yourself.
Can I still search and book hotels myself?
Yes. Switch to “Search hotels myself” at the top of the page to browse hotels on GrandStay and book directly.
